Daniel Nascimento opened the scoring for Brampton, scoring his 14th goal of the season this further proves his title as the CSL’s top goal scorer. After only 18 minutes Daniel placed it past the Attak keeper from the penalty spot, but his game was cut short when the prolific striker was shown a red card for a dangerous play at the mi-point of the second half.
The Attak then replied through forward Pierre-Rudolph Mayard, tying the game in the 29th minute at 1-1, but Miles O'Connor hit the winner at 42 minutes for the Lions which moved us into sixth place in the overall standings for an improved chance at one of the eight available playoff berths.
It was the Attak’s third defeat of the regular season and was the second time that the Lions and the Attak have met this year with the first being a draw at 1-1 and the second time being a 2-1 win, the Lions will go into the playoffs with plenty of confidence.
